I learned so much writing branded entertainment for kids at Spin Master. Marketing toys by nesting them within original, long-form, episodic content was career-altering. I discovered that the stories we tell as marketers can be an entertainment destination, rather than the sales pitch an audience has to endure to be entertained. And selfishly, playing with some of the world’s most famous IPs was really fun.

BAKUGAN
When Bakugan 3.0 launched on Netflix, in fall 2023, I wrote an entire YouTube ecosystem to support the brand, including music videos, watch parties, toy battles, and surrounding hype.
NINJA BOTS
I’ve written for a few silly robot toys, but none as unhinged as Ninja Bots. It was a blast scripting play-by-play for this deranged fight club.
WEEGO’S FIELD TRIP
I also wrote and developed a Blippi-inspired kids’ show that worked as a platform to showcase Spin Master toys.
